The town of LeMars, Iowa has the ultimate ice cream cone scavenger hunt with 56 decorated ice cream cones!

Le Mars is known as the Ice Cream Capital of the World, as they are the world’s largest manufacturer of ice cream in one location.  Keeping with this theme, the town implemented a public art project that involves 6-foot tall fiberglass ice cream cone sculptures that are stationed at various local businesses.  Each sculpture was decorated by local artists and many of them are designed to mirror the activities or values of each specific business.
