The Great Des Moines Hot Air Balloon Hunt Returns!

What is the Great Des Moines Hot Air Balloon Hunt?

The Great DSM Balloon Hunt is a unique event focusing on hot air balloons in an urban setting. Balloons will NOT lift off and stay on the ground, but the balloon will be inflated and lit up by burners. Participants are encouraged to travel or “hunt” for all the balloons on the night of the event. It’s referred to as a “hunt” because the date and time are known – but the exact location is not known until the exact time of the event. For more information, visit the DSMUSA website for the balloon hunt
