The hottest ticket in baseball?
Iowans can now register for a chance to purchase tickets for the 2022 Field of Dreams game between the Chicago Cubs and Cincinnati Reds. The game is scheduled for Thursday, August 11th on the new ballpark next to the original Field of Dreams movie site.
Here are the details:
- Only fans who register with an Iowa zip code can participate.
- Fans must register between June 2nd and June 9th online at this website: https://www.mlb.com/fans/field-of-dreams/tickets
- On Wednesday, June 15th random winners will be drawn. These winners will give the opportunity to purchase 2 tickets and 1 parking pass.
- At this time, the price of the tickets has not been posted.
- However, the 2021 price was $375 plus $21 in tax, with the total for 2 tickets, tax, and parking pass being over $800.
- Of course, tickets were also being resold online for $1,500 or more
The game is expected to have limited attendance. With limited tickets, there’s a good chance these will be the hottest tickets in baseball.
