The exterior view of the Sky Bridge which is 50 ft tall and 575 feet long.
On the south end of the bridge is an observation deck that overlooks the Mississippi River.
Kaleidoscope lighting is used inside the bridge after dark. It contains over 200 LED fixtures and over 8,000 individual LED lights that are used to display various patterns such are red and green during the holidays, and red/white/blue during the 4th of July.
The bridge has an elevator and steps on both ends (LeClaire Park and 2nd Street).
I wasn’t able to visit during the evening, but I’ve heard that the LED light display during the evenings is fantastic.
