See the largest drive-thru holiday lights display in SE Iowa!

Mount Pleasant’s Festival of Lights is the largest drive-thru holiday lights display in southeast Iowa with a 1.6-mile trail that contains over 140 displays. It’s held each year in the Midwest Old Threshers Campground on the south end of Mount Pleasant, Iowa.

When is the Festival of Lights open?

They are typically open from Nov 20th to Dec 30th, but please check the Festival of Lights Facebook page for details.

What is the cost of admission?

Family vehicles are $10 and various vehicles like limos, buses, etc cost additional.

On selected nights, Santa is available to meet at the end of the lights route from 5:30pm to 9pm

Drive thru the barn doors and you’ll enter the farm area that has tractors and various farm animals.
Each of the displays has a set of signs noting who sponsored each display.

At the entrance, they will tell you want radio station to turn to for your Christmas music as you drive through the park.
The entrance starts with lots of patriotic displays.
