Miracle on 86th Street is a free holiday light display in Urbandale, Iowa. It’s located in the Charles Gabus Memorial Tree Park, which is next to the Urbandale Public Library and contains over 50,000 lights. Admission is free and there’s a lot of nearby parking.
There’s also a custom-built wooden train labeled “Jolly Holly Trolley” and its open for kids to climb through and aboard the train. Underneath a nearby pavilion, there’s a sleigh that’s available for family photo ops.
At the center of the park, the largest tree is decorated with lights and hanging ornaments. At ground level, there are several large snowflakes for photo ops.
The park is lit from Nov 15th through Jan 9th from 5pm to 10pm.
