Iowa’s U-Pick Apple Orchards (2026)
Few fall activities are as simple or satisfying as picking an apple directly from the tree. Iowa has U-pick orchards across the state, from small family farms focused almost entirely on fruit to larger fall destinations with corn mazes, bakeries, play areas and other attractions.
This guide features Iowa orchards where visitors can pick their own apples. U-pick availability depends on the crop, variety, weather and number of visitors, so picking can begin or end with very little notice. Always check the orchard’s website or social media page before making a special trip.
